Parliamentary controversy today

Within the parliament sitting today friday, january 2025? The main speaker Rt honourable Alban Bagbin handed over to the second deputy honourable Andrew Asiamah Amoako to continue the government business they commenced yesterday . As he left ,the majority leader honourable Mahama Ayariga was given the floor to read the government business statement. After he was done, honourable Afenyo Markin was also privileged to address the house saying that the Ablekuma north collation must continue since there was no tangible reason given for the suspension of the collation last time. We all know that it's about a month now since we had our December 7 elections but the contentious parliamentaries which was at a point taken to court on different occasions has still not ended however, causing tension to rise . The whole minority in parliament stood on their feet chanting that there would be no continuation of government business since the issue of Ablekuma north was not calmed and finalized , it was an interesting scene that the recent re-collation was not done under enough protection of the electoral commissioner and they being a part of the country necessitates the fact why they need representation in parliament. Nevertheless, former minister for interior, honourable Dominic Ntiwul attempted his best to ensure calmness among his colleagues being the minority side after the parliament was suspended for 30 minutes. The question still keeps coming whether they'll accept for the continuation of the said government business or they need immediate re-collation. story by Dennis for Time Radio
