Our Pension life must not be a burden on the taxpayer (majority leader)

As at yesterday Wednesday 29th January, the majority leader honourable Mahama Ayariga brought to parliament a formal statement to introduce schemes to support former law makers as in retired members of parliament. So as from that the minority chief whip honourable Frank Annor Dompreh also expressed his vehement view in seconding to the idea of the majority caucus. However, from the approval of this in parliament by the MPs, 9 member committee was created chaired by the member of Parliament for Asutifi south honourable Charles Dauda, the main aim of the scheme is to be a fund bosom where retired law makers would be supported and not the civil servant or the tax payer which must be taxed again. Other members of the 9 member committee are Hn Sampson Ayine , Hn Yeboah Amankwa, Hn Suhuyini Alhassan, Hn Stephen Amoah , Hn Frank Annor Dompreh, Hn Charles Dauda, and Hn Dr Kabiru Fast forward, after the the vetting of the minister designate for land and natural resources, minority opposed the approval of Hn Emmanuel Armah Buah due to claims that he used derogatory comments on the former president Nana Akuffo Addo and therefore needs to apologize but at last, he was approved plus three other regional ministers of which one was Hn Frank Amoakohene, the minister designate for Ashanti region.
