"Anti-gay bill will be reintroduced into parliament " Sam George

Since the introduction of the LGBTQ+ bill in parliament on 4th of March, 2024, many concerns have been raised of which Sam George was the main sponsor against it . Parliament read the bill and it passed through the consideration stage which is left with assenting for it to become a law. 

Sam George has been one rigid basis on bringing proper human rights on children after opposing strongly that law. The president John Dramani Mahama reiterated on it after appearing before the Catholic bishops on January 14th that it has expired and therefore needs to be introduced again but this time a government sponsored bill. 

 He said that he would ensure that proper family value rights are being inculcated in our children and reinforcement of the religious and moral education in our various schools. Appearing before the appointments committee, Sam George who has been one main stronghold for the passing of the anti-gay bill reasserted , "My position is, that bill(Anti-gay) is a critical part of our national lives, Ghanaian family values , our innocent children must be protected. 

In this 9th parliament, that bill will be reintroduced. Either as a private member bill or government sponsored bill, I will work with the government, if it's my bill , I will bring it back again " This and many other things he reaffirmed including cybersecurity amongst others
