When we heard of the deadly virus(CORONA VIRUS) we all played around with it, thinking that it will also be a nightmare as the Ebola Virus (EBV) which we never experienced in this country. We always presume our Religious Based knowledge is enough to protect us forgetting that, those affected were also religious based countries.
Again, we turned it to be our usual political gimmicks forgetting our health and life will be at stake.
We are also using this medium to take advantage of ourselves in this country by making the basic protective gears like sanitizer and face mask very expensive for our selfish market profits.
The basic protective gears which should have been made very available and affordable are at their highest market prices now. If I may ask; how well do we protect ourselves from this deadly virus whiles we remain very greedy and selfish to ourselves?
Today we are leaving in total fear and panic because of this virus. Schools have been closed down, important social gatherings have been suspended till further notice and some occupations will be in despair in the coming days.
This is the time for us especially the youth to stand for the betterment of the nation. Let's not forget this song "arise Ghana youth for your country ".
I therefore edge you all to arise for the country; do your best, play your part well and make this deadly virus become history in our motherland.
Let's all come together and fight this virus for our motherland Ghana.
Long Live Ghana...
